@MovieCaveDave - Yes you can most certainly do that. The sync box only comes on and starts when you initiate sync. Other than that you can do everything as you normally would.

@@QasimZafar Between phones/knife/light/battery/wallet/iPod/small water flask etc in my bag - I put it on a scale & it came in a.t 5.1 lbs. It packs all the contents very well with an array of possibilities for storage & great access to all.

@@QasimZafar Normally yes but they get heavy in the gym, neck starts to feel heavy and uncomfortable. They should think about using plastic instead of metal

@Hunnan1012 - I can understand that for sure, for gym I prefer AirPods 3 they’re much more comfortable. I use the Mac when I’m at the desk working and there it’s not an issue for me.

@TeacherBuster - Some people think the subscription is a must but it’s not. The controller functions without it but if you get the subscription you can use their app much like a hub that you find on Xbox and PlayStation.

@TeacherBuster - I’m not sure about gamesir but the backbone does allow it. Also lots of games have controller settings inside of them that can be tweaked.

It’s just again I’d love to get one but I already have a solid monitor which works great with the MacBook. As for printer you’re right but unfortunately no resolution available for me. I can’t say anything for the Logitech combo because I haven’t personally used one in a long time. Hopefully these quirks can get worked out with time.

@Gilfordd - Yea that is also a huge issue in some cases. For example I can’t do back end work on any of my websites because it doesn’t recognize the iPad as a proper computer.

@@QasimZafar I have the ESR Shift case and a Magic Keyboard. For rugged durable on the go or in the lap it’s the ESR. At a desk it’s the Magic Keyboard. I do weddings, senior and family portraits and this year added doing sports composites. I use Lightroom for all of my edits and photoshop to extract the photos and customize the templates. I’m not heavy into file systems so it works for me. Load all of my pictures into an album in light room. Do the culling then edit. Once done send it to a folder on my website then, to a folder on my ssd. With sports I do the same thing except I keep a folder on the iPad pull the pics into photoshop. Once done with templates I send a finished folder to files. Upload that folder to my website and the ssd then delete the one on the iPad

@fashopimpin - Yes but I was only using it to edit my last video on the iPad. I’m a Final Cut user and I wish that Apple would make it better. LumaFusion is great though.

@michaelferguson364 - Yeah honestly really depends on each persons situation but as mentioned I just can’t. There’s a lot of have to do for it to work. Sometimes I wonder if they just kept it in two sizes 8/11in and just updated it every two years with a few things like better display etc. I think that would’ve been fine and would’ve kept it much cheaper as well. @suli_xli - I think if you want to use it more like a computer the 13in would be the way to go because you have more real estate. 11in really isn’t all that big and would be more suitable as a tablet. If you’re getting a monitor make sure it’s something that’s compatible because as I mentioned mine doesn’t work in HDR with my current one.

@suli_xli Depends if you’re working mobile a lot then do 13in but if you’re going to use the monitor more frequently do 11in.

@marcelobonimani - The hue box is only necessary if you’d like to sync the lights. Otherwise you can use the lights for ambience without it.

The mini is the perfect tablet size, comfortable to hold yet at the same time the screen size is reasonable to enjoy content or anything for that matter.

@caseyjmarkovich That’s great, you’ll be good with the m1 iPad for quite some time. I’ve been playing with the new one and it’s nice but nothing that the older m1 can’t do.
